We target investment opportunities at venture-backed companies ranging from seed stage through pre-IPO. We look for industry-leading technologies, disruptive business models and experienced management teams. We are industry-agnostic and are looking to invest across a wide range of technology, life science and clean energy sectors. We don’t mind being contrarians, and are willing to put in the time and effort to discover great opportunities.

As your business grows, your capital requirements change. Velocity has the flexibility to customize financing solutions to meet your specific requirements. We provide our portfolio companies with alternative capital that is less dilutive than equity and more flexible than bank debt.

Target Size:

We believe that the prudent use of leverage can minimize dilution, extend runway and help increase the velocity of your company’s value creation. Velocity’s typical transaction size will range from $250,000 to $5 million, and we have the ability to syndicate for larger transactions.
